As an avid traveler, after having visited a multitude of countries in the world, in the year 2020 I found my point of arrival in Greece on the Island of Karpathos.
Over the years I have tried to understand what made this piece of rock in the middle of the sea so special.
Then visiting the island in all seasons of the year I realized the shocking beauty of this place: the changing colors and landscapes, the violently wild nature, the jealous preservation of traditions, religious rituals, the variety of people and local customs, the local gastronomy, the total sense of freedom and lightness.
A single universe composed of a variety of micro universes made of wonderful beaches and high mountains that hide the most ancient traditions.
Understood the secret of this island, I wanted to realize this vision by creating SOPHID, which embodies what for us makes the experience that Karpathos can offer unique SILENCE, NATURE, TRADITIONS, SIMPLE AND GENUINE FLAVOURS, EXCITING COLOURS, PERFUMES OF FREEDOM, everything that can make the body and soul lighter, far from the noise of everyday life.
